Emerald Island Resort is a prestigious gated & guarded community located on Disney's doorstep. Surrounded by a Conservation Area, it encompasses over 300 acres with 11 heavily wooded acres right in the middle of the community.
Within minutes of Walt Disney World and a short drive to shopping and dining, this 'island' serves as a haven from the larger world while remaining central to everything the world's most popular destination has to offer.

This vacation house is closed to:
Parks: Disney World parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, etc.), AMC movie theatres, and Disney Springs are approximately a 10–15-minute drive away from our home. Busch Gardens is a 45-minute drive.
Airport: Orlando International Airport is a 25-minute drive.
Grocery: Located near our Disney properties are liquor stores and grocery stores such as Wal-Mart, Target and Publix.
Restaurant: There are many shopping plazas close by with restaurants and of course all the Walt Disney World dining options.
Golf: There are several golf courses within a few miles.
Hospital: There is also a hospital, drug stores and an urgent care clinic all within 5-10 minutes.
Shopping: If you like to shop the Premium Outlets, Mall at Millennia and the Florida Mall are 20-25 minutes.
Other Attractions: Old Town Kissimmee (features restaurants, shops and amusement rides) is about 10 minutes. The Amway Center, Downtown Orlando and Church Street are approximately 30 minutes.
The Orange County Convention Center, Universal Studios, Discovery Cove, Halloween Horror Nights, City Walk, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, International Drive and Volcano Bay are all about a 15–20-minute drive.
Beach: Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach is a about a 60-minute drive.
Tampa Aquarium and Clearwater Beach are 1½ hour away.

We charge nightly rates.
We accept major credit cards. However, processing fees of 3% will be added.
The preferable mode of payment is bank check or credit card.
We have a non-refundable $250 reservation deposit per week that must be paid at time of reservation, and it will count towards the reservation balance.
A refundable $300 security deposit must be paid at time of reservation. It will be reimbursable 14 days after check-out, if no damage to the house.
Balances are payable in full 60 days before check-in. For bookings within 60 days of check-in, the total rental amount is payable in full at the time of booking.
We do not accept reservation within 20 days of check-in date.
Heating Pool fee $35 daily plus tax
Cleaning fee: $150 plus tax
Nightly rates start $129 plus tax.
Resort Access fee $20 per car. Payable to the resort at time of check-in

In the summer of 2014, our family was searching for the perfect place to create magical Disney memories. That search led us to this house, and the moment we walked through the door, we knew it was something special—it immediately felt like home.

In the summer of 2014, our family was searching for the perfect place to create magical Disney memories. That search led us to this house, and the moment we walked through the door, we knew it was something special—it immediately felt like home.
That unforgettable summer, we had the best vacation of our lives. We loved the sunny Florida weather, the convenience of being so close to world-famous amusement parks and fantastic restaurants, and, of course, the house’s private pool. In fact, the pool became a favorite spot for our kids—they never wanted to leave it!
For years, we held onto the dream of one day making this house our own. In 2021, that dream became a reality. Since then, we've lovingly upgraded the property to ensure it’s as comfortable and welcoming for you as it has always been for us.
We hope this home becomes the backdrop for your own magical memories, whether you’re here to explore the parks, relax by the pool, or simply enjoy quality time together.
